IB at Sunny Hills

Background

The International Baccalaureate at Sunny Hills was authorized in 1985. Since then, our students have tested for a multitude of IB courses. Our class size has also increased greatly over time with 32 students in the class of 2021 and 35 students in the class of 2022.

What makes IB at Sunny Hills special?

IB at Sunny Hills not only offers a world-class education, but consideration is also taken towards students' mental and physical health. The teachers provide lots of guidance and rigorous coursework to prepare students for external assessments and college-level courses. Our teachers are always willing to help their students during break, lunch, or even after school. Check out how well our students did in 2020 thanks to them in the 2020 IB Results Report. Additionally, our smaller class sizes, unlike some schools, allow students to develop better connections with their teachers and peers. There's more one-on-one help offered for the different subjects and the extended essays. This level of support has helped numerous IB students become recognized as valedictorians and salutatorians. Sunny Hills also offers mental health sessions to ensure our IB students are doing well in addition to socials every month with juniors and seniors.
